Hey, I have no problem with you posting nothing but posts of substance about BSG :)

As I'm DVRing BSG to get an alternate copy for vidding rewatching Ties That Bind at the moment, something caught my ear. The executive order that Lee talks about relating to the reworking of the justice system is order #112. Do you think that's executive order 112 since the colonial government formed, or since the colonies got destroyed?

I'd forgotten how loaded Laura's comment was about "you know that I don't control the media, no matter how much I'd like to" given the comments on the legal system that followed.
I assumed the order was since the colonies were destroyed. I think it's totally plausible that that many changes have been made within the colonial government in the past four years. Which is a bit frightening.

I'd forgotten how loaded Laura's comment was about "you know that I don't control the media, no matter how much I'd like to" given the comments on the legal system that followed.

Yeah, I picked up on that too.
ZOMG!

You know, suddenly I have the urge to try and find that three-issue comic arc they did in the late 90s right after the show started that someone bought me and I can barely remember...

That and I ought to actually catch up on all the BSG comics I have lying around yet to be read. The last one I read was hilarious: Zarek's backstory all about how his dad couldn't get the medication he needed when his job made him sick, right before the episode which told us that the Saggitarons wouldn't get medical treatment! (Okay: it's easily explained - his dad wasn't a fundamentalist. It even works well: explains why the company thought they could get away with that behaviour, but somehow I doubt that the comic company knew that, and I felt very bad for them, and largely amused...)
