Asta 2

Full of Sound and Fury, Signifying Nothing

Special thanks to Bill Shakespeare who can sum up Alexander far better than I. Of course, Luke Skywalker said it well too when he proclaimed "What a piece of junk".

I actually felt sorry for all the actors involved in this monatonous, over blown, ill concevied mess and I don't even care much for Colin Farrell. The actors at least tried to make as much as the could out of a lousy script. I mean, if you are seeing a biopic shouldn't you learn *something* about the person the film is about? As well as more than one tiny example of his military expertise.

And what of Alexander's bisexuality? Yes, they did address it, but the way they did so made it some huge issue when, in fact, during that era it was no big deal.

Why is a studio giving him a 100 million dollars ro spend?

The only reason I can think of is if his movies make money, but I'm not certain of the box office on his last few movies so I can't say for sure. Hollywood is such a bottom line place that it's the only viable reason. It can't be due to quality.
