I Hate To Say I Told You So.....Actually, No I Don't ;p

Apparently rumors are circulating that Alias may be cancelled due to abysmal ratings. A couple years ago this would have broken my heart, now all I can say is HA! But, I doubt it will be cancelled. Due to syndication and DVD sales, I'm thinking ABC will allow it to plug along until the end of the season then put the nail in the coffin. I'm also torn about another bit of Alias news...Michael Vartan is back. He was on set yesterday shooting an episode. How long will he be around? I don't know. But, I will watch his episodes and I am happy that my last image of Vaughn will not be a 'dead' Vaughn. However, the evil part of me would have enjoyed seeing MV screw the show over and refuse to come back.

I watched my third and last episode of Close to Home last night. I could go on and on about how bad it was, but why bother? Let's just say I was getting angry and I want to be entertained while watching TV not pissed off. And Christian just isn't in it enough to make up for all the problems. He was in all of two scenes last night playing Mr Perfect Husband. Bor-ring. I can only assume he took the role because he can't be working more than two days a week and it gives him time to work on other projects while making some easy money.

For all you Doctor Who fans in the U.S. some sort-of good news. The BBC plans to release the show to DVD in Canada. The tentative release date is 2/14/06. So, while it sucks we can't get it here in the states, the U.S. and Canada are both Region 1 so no problems playing the discs. And so close to someone's birthday too. ;)

Last, but certainly not least, a very Happy Birthday!!! to mirandaflynn. I hope other people are baking for you today and showering you with 'Smallville' discs. :)
