Good News/Bad News - You Decide.

I caught this at TV Guide.com:

Serenity star Nathan Fillion has been cast in 'White Noise 2: The Light', a follow-up to the 2005 horror flick. Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff is in talks to costar.

It took me a minute to recall that there was, in fact, a 'White Noise'. That movie actually did well enough to warrant a sequel? I smell direct to video.


For Valentine's Day, I've got nothing to share with you all. Call it a lack of creativity (at least as far as this internet thingee goes) and paralyzed with not caring very much. ;) I do appreciate the pretty pictures the rest of you are sharing though. :)

Oh, and before someone complains I forgot to remind them (you know who you are) there is a new epsiode of House tonight. I'm sure he'll be in a Hallmark mood after last week's events. :p

    I'm gonna go with Bad News. I mean, I'm happy that they're in a movie, but White Noise 2? Really, guys? You chose that as your next step in your career? *shakes head sadly*

    Actually, I think Katee's next step is to do one of those horrid Sci-Fi Saturday flicks. I can see why Jamie isn't doing anything during his hiatus if this is the kind of stuff he's being offered. (Maybe he learned something from 'Ghost Rig'. ;)

    Yeah, she's doing one of the Sci-Fi Saturday Cheezfests at the moment. She's either an alien or hunting aliens or something. Right about now I'd rather read she was guest starring on CSI or 'Law & Order' like every other actor on the planet.

    Also? Explain to me why there is a White Noise 2, and a Final Destination One-Billion, and yet there may be no sequel to Serenity? There is no justice in the world.

    I've sort of mindwiped the awfulness of this potential sequel. My brain is only processing one thing: Cap'n Tightpants and Starbuck. On screen. Together. Wake up and smell the fanfic, baby!

    Got to go with this being a bad move - I would have hoped that with all the kudos critically that is being given to the BSG cast Katee would have made/been offered better choices then she seems to have done/had recently, but maybe this is all she's had offered at the mo. Both her and Fillion are WAY better actors then this and though its always good to see Fillion in anything I can't help but cringe at the thought of this....

    I'm curious when this movie is set to start filming. I would think in the near future and with BSG starting filming again next month, I'm not sure how this is going to work out. Unless it's shooting in Vancouver and she can do both at the same time?
