It seems everything is conspiring to throw my worldview into chaos. Pretty soon, I won't even notice flying pigs.

caprica sounds so bad! perhaps it isn't, i'll refrain from judging it until i actually see it, but it sounds godawful. it's set up perfectly to retroactively ruin bsg.

how IS tscc? i've stopped watching after the first two eps.

I know someone else who quit watching TSCC after the second episode and I told them it was a big mistake. ;) It's hard to believe, but with the addition of Brian (and his character) the show went from OK to very interesting. By the fifth episode a lot of things started to click. I've been lucky in that when a show I love ends another has been there to take it's place so I have something to obsess over. TSCC may be the heir apparent to BSG for me.

And Caprica isn't thrilling me, but I remember how negatively I felt about BSG after reading about it, to the extent that I refused to watch the mini, and we know how that has turned out!

perhaps i'll give it another shot. i am not sure yet, as i'm not exactly excited over watching stuff anymore. one of the turn-offs for me, surprisingly enough, has been summer glau. i can't stand her, and i doubt she'll be written off anytime soon.

i am glad it's turned out to be a good show people can enjoy. i mean, i'm happy for those it brings happiness to. or something like that. ;)

that's why i'm trying not to pass judgement on the show before i see it. but damn, does it sound bad written down on paper.

I wasn't a huge fan of Summer on Firefly, but I love her on TSCC. And there was one ep they were able to utilize her ballet training which was cool.

The script/script pages floating around for Caprica seem to be from October of 2006 so I'm hoping/hopeful that Ron has done some significant rewrites. ::crosses fingers::
