True story: I had a nightmare last night that I missed the Claudia Black panel on Saturday. I don't even know if there's going to be a Claudia Black panel on Saturday, but it was awful.
There is going to be a Claudia Black panel on Saturday! As well as Sunday and Monday. She's not scheduled to be there Friday, though Ben is.

Why, yes, I may have taken a half hour at lunch to go through the tracks and start updating my/our schedule. I have to say, I'm not sure when we'll be eating this year. And Terry Gilliam is showing his film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus which might be cool to try and see before the general public does. I'll have full details posted later today. ;)

ETA: Shatner and Nimoy scored the Atrium at 10:00am Friday and Mary and Eddie got bumped to the Sheraton. And it looks like that is the ONLY panel Shatner is doing. Guess where we'll be?

I saw the Saturday Farscape and Sunday Stargate panels she's scheduled to be on (with Browder! Yay!), but I missed the Monday one. I hope it's in the morning, and am super-glad we're not leaving until late afternoon.
It's another Farscape panel at 10:00am so you have your wish about the early. ;) Of course, American SciFi Media just tweeted that the guest lists for their panels aren't final and they'll be updating later today. I have to say, I haven't been overly impressed with their updating. They didn't even have Michael Turcco listed as a guest (and he was added months ago), yet they listed Aaron Douglas as a guest and he's not an official guest of the con.
The BSG panel is bumped to the Sheraton?

Dammit, now I need to find someone to go over there with me as I promised to take pictures.

Oddly, everyone seems to want to go to the Star Trek panel instead. Wacky. ;)
I think I'm going to have to get up at OMG In The Morning to ensure i get into the Shatner/Nimoy panel.

As much as I love Mary, I can't deal with what I'm sure will be a Roslin/Adama love fest. That is when Eddie isn't regaling everyone with his stories of how he brought the UN to it's feet and changed the world. :p

You'll find someone who doesn't care about Nimoy and Shatner. I'm sure such people exist!
10:00 a.m. Friday! Okay, you're my resident expert on this: what time are they going to open the registration line for badges Friday morning?
8:00am! :)

danceswithwords and I are registering on Thursday (hopefully). We can hold a place in line for you Friday morning. Let's start the con off right! :)
Awesome!:) It shouldn't be any problem for me to be there around 8:00, so maybe the line won't be too treacherous yet. Having that be the first panel actually sounds great; it should be at least slightly less crowded than it would be on Saturday, which is when I was thinking a Shatner/Nimoy panel would be.
Nimoy has solo panels on Saturday and Sunday. I don't get why Shatner is only doing one panel. I guess he wants to make more money in the Walk of Fame?

And registration is at the Sheraton this year. I think I mentioned that in a previous post. Supposedly the bigger room will speed up the registration process. We'll see.
I guess he wants to make more money in the Walk of Fame?

Weird. Of almost anyone there, except Patrick Stewart of course, I would think Shatner would need autograph money the least. He's been working steadily for years.

Until I was looking through the schedule a few minutes ago, I had somehow completely missed the fact that Michael Biehn is going to be there.

Also, thanks for reminding me about the Sheraton! I had forgotten about that.
So... like a neutron star or black hole, has Shatner's hairpiece caused your entire con trip to be rearranged around itself?
Hee. No. As luck would have it, it's the first panel Friday morning at my hotel and since the BSG panel is Mary and Eddie and, as much as I love Mary, I CANNOT sit through a Roslin/Adama love fest, so no conflicts!
