Yeah, I know it's yet another sign the show is over, no more Spike. I'm actually a Spike fan first, a James fan second, yet, I seem to be paralyzed by not caring very much.
As for other unimportant crap....American Idol observations...
Jon Peter is apparently still eating too much spicy food.
My boy John Stevens is back! Perfect song choice. I know he's not going to win (my final four pics - George, LaToya, Fantasia, and Jennifer), but I just wanted him to show he can sing, even if it's limited to one genre of music.
I cringed when I first heard Quentin Tarantino was going to be a judge. But, damn if I wasn't impressed. He's done something no other guest judge has ever done...he criticized. And very well too. He wasn't cruel, just honest.
Did the show get kick backs form Disney tonight? Four people picked Disney films as their favorites. Something's fishy and I'm not talking about Nemo. :p
Thsi could be a really good show if Marissa would just die already. Die Marissa Die> Couldn't Luke have run her over? And then a grieving Ryan could leave town. That would leave more time for the couple that is actually interesting - Seth and Summer, who become more wonderful each week. Seth actually had me all teary when he confessed he couldn't be hurt when she never spoke to him, when *no one* did. ::sniff::
And Summer is showing a maturity and selflessness I never expected to see. Not to mention, she was the one who knew away around the power tools. Nice twist. :)
The Luke storyline is just...odd. Or ill-conceived. He was in love? Um, yeah, sure. To add insult to injury they have to throw in the stupid drinking and driving twist.
Yeah! Theresa is back next week. Can we keep her and dump Marissa? Are you guys sensing a pattern with me yet? ;)
